Never been a Budweiser fan but picked up a six of the copper lager. Not great but better than Bud or Bud light

Re: Craft beer
Managed to get a 2nd bottle of CBS. Haven't cracked either of them. Maybe over the holidays when the kids are over.
@WBH The corner beer store closed a couple days ago. Talked with the owner and discovered he's moving to the old Agrusa unit. Got a partner (think it's one of the Agrusa's) and is expanding into the grocery and deli business. Says the place will be nice (which is good because his current unit is a dump) and that they've been remodeling it for 3 months. Only thing that sucks is parking isn't always convenient in that corner. Says they might not open until New Years. He's been very secretive about the move. Been lying to me a couple weeks now after I asked why his inventory was so low...first said he was going to re-tile the floor. Told me not to tell anyone about it.

Tried CBS. Bocce IPA and any NEIPAs are usually my go to. But Backwoods Bastard is my favorite. I’d bathe in that beer

I went to that a few years back. I won the Hammerschlagen game in one hit. Panties got moist.

Every Aldi Beer, Ranked by a Certified Cicerone
Aldi -- the German-based discount grocery that's basically the less-flashy cousin of Trader Joe's -- has developed a nearly Wegman's-caliber following of loyal customers on the strength of its extremely inexpensive line of organics, cured meats, frozen pizzas, and spreads. But it's also got a hell of a booze selection, including a crazy-inexpensive wine section to rival Two-Buck Chuck and a formidable beer aisle stocking 12 Aldi-exclusive brews, including imports, IPAs, and more.
Aldi's beer is remarkably cheap and robust in its offerings. But which beers belong in your fridge? To find out, we enlisted Eric Sadovnick, certified cicerone and bar manager at LA's Arts District Brewing, to rank every beer during a marathon blind taste test. Sadovnick, who wasn't even familiar with the ever-expanding international grocer, found a lot to love among the 12 beers Aldi offers, and ranked them based on flavor, aroma, pairing-possibilities, and general enjoyability. Here's how they stacked up.

Did you see Oades on Grand River was sold and closed? Not sure what’s coming next in that spot.

Read an article ranking US wheat beers. This was second, figured I would try it.
Odes on Grand River is gone? Dang. East Lansing/Campus is virtually unrecognizable to a early 90's grad.

I drive downtown three or four times a week and it’s pretty much unrecognizable to me, too.

KBS not selling as quick as years before despite the cheaper price. My local store still has 5-6 cases a week after receiving it.

It's sneaky sneaky. Boss Tweed is good, but it's flavor slows you down, until you drink enough it doesn't, and you end up trying to explain to tWife why your sinus meds made you piss the bed, and not the 6 moonshine beers.

Founders has a Malt liquor beer, somthing like XXML, anyway, it is part of their bourbon barrel series. Was tasty, but a single bottle runs around $5.

didn't know they had a malt liquor - pretty funny. The Colt .45 was as bad as I remembered.. which means it was good. Haven't had Mickey's big mouth in a while.. could've gone for one of those.
