At least down here they were running stories about how the pets will think it's night time, etc. Basically local stations seemed to just pick up national stories about it and run it. We had about 80% coverage down here, too, so it was similar to Michigan. I did notice that it got a few degrees cooler. Was hot as fucking balls when it started, but at the peak of the eclipse, it felt like a nice February or March day (which down here means low-mid 80s). Warm, but still comfortable. I still enjoyed it. Watching (through eclipse glasses) as you see the moon gradually passing in front of the sun is still pretty cool.

Yeah, I had a neighbor who thought it would get darker. I just didn't know. The available light was different than as dusk approaches. There was a soft glow to it.

Decent description. Was similar to the '79 eclipse in many ways. '79 struck me as seeing things outside more defined. Yesterday was the same.

Reminded me of a partial eclipse we had several years ago. It's just so... abnormal that it makes it pretty flipping cool.
