Can't say I 100% agree with the decision. I'm not opposed to ads that pass fact-checks, but this is far better than Facebook's approach to not policing any political advertising.

But bots can still created thousands of usernames posting political stuff, including blatant lies.

Seems like just a hollow move to score a few PR points while effectively doing very little.

Beto O'Rourke is an "Is that all there is" candidate nationally. Other Democrats were able to articulate his message better than himself and that is always a problem in a national election. Its unfortunate he stayed in as long as he did hurting his chances in the next US Senate race in Texas had he wanted to run.
