Betting the kid did not go to a full time daycare before pre-school.

Having recently gone through this, the diseases were rampant the first year or two in daycare. Then they seem to fizzle out. Still will get some stuffy noses and congestion in the winter but nothing like the first year or two. I guess they build up a resistance to the more common strains? Who knows, I'm just glad that time period is OVER. Nothing like having a day full of meetings and getting a call from daycare that you have to come pick up your 2 year old because she threw up snot.

Yep. Never had been away from Mom, Dad or me. That was one of the reasons I was advocating pre-school to them. He's played with siblings and a little with some cousins but not many others. I thought the socialization aspect would be pretty important for him. He's only 3.5 but the 1st day he got on the bus last week was the 1st time he was away from one of us. He was excited to go though and as you know that's 90% of the battle. The driver and teachers said he did pretty well.

Makes sense. You'd already been exposed and she could take care of the three of you all at once instead of one after the other. Smart mom. Makes me wonder what the hell happened with you.

Yesterday I accidentally turned the wrong way down a one way street. People on the side walk were shouting at me that I was going the wrong way and I felt like a moron. How come that’s the one traffic law the general public cares about? If I’m speeding, if I make a rolling stop, forget to use my blinker, have a headlight out etc. no one ever mentions it.

So, I"m in Manistee when I was 20, and River Street is a one way street. I was not drunk, but I had been in a bar illegally with some friends and maybe had a beer. So, friends and I were stupid and I get in the car and leave the bar on River Street and wanted to cross the bridge to get to a party at the beach. Well we were one block south of the bridge, so I could drive the wrong way on a one way street for one block, turn left and get there quick. Or I could come out of the bar, turn left and do about a mile around the one ways and drive proper. So, I chose the short cut.

Friend in the back seat says, "Hey wags, somebody else is following us, you're starting a trend". I'm feeling good about being a trend setter. That was until the bubbles came on the car that was behind me.

So I was in my truck driving and farting. It smelled bad at first, but I got used to it evidently. I went in to Kroger, took me 20 minutes. I come out and open my door. MY GOD, I about gagged. I'm actually kind of proud that it hung around that long.
