You’re just jealous they have penises, Caitlyn.
Hey Bob Saget, the homicide rate falling is a result of more immigrants coming to the United States yearly. I mean if we’re doing random causation shit, let’s pick this.

I’m not making the argument that the more guns in circulation caused the fall in homicides. I’m arguing it doesn’t matter.

Yeah it’s the gradual decline in freedom. We have it a good run... back to democratic feudalism.

Like the failed drug ban laws.... people adapt and change. I wouldn’t worry about availability of firearms. It just goes into the black market where a new line of business will open itself for cartels, the mob, etc.

So after whatever new law passes we’ll be back here in 5-10 years talking about further ‘common sense gun laws’, rinse/repeat, till the only thing left to do is ban.
But they’re not coming for your freedoms.

Re: The political hodge podge thread
Man that is a realllllly interesting reverse image search on the random excel sheet.
1) lots of conservative sources citing it right now. (This is where goose prolly got it.)
2) it seems to be from a study from 2015 from the Crime Prevention Research Center. That study isn’t doing a great job of easily providing the source data for the random excel sheet but then again I’m at work so I don’t have time to really get into it. But scoping through some of the links and such in the study it’s not exactly jumping out where that came from.
3) now the Crime Prevention Research Center sounds pretty official doesn’t it. Here’s the thing. It was founded by a guy named John Lott. I don’t know him very well but his bio on a few sites on a quick google say “gun rights advocate” and then there’s this link which certainly doesn’t sound good But I won’t say I’ve dug into this either but I feel like maybe it’s something to read before just saying “yup that data is accurate.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/thinkprogress.org/debunking-john-lott-5456e83cf326/amp/
Finally, amongst others on the groups Board of Directors are Ted Nugent and David Clarke. So, I mean take whatever you want from all that but basically I’m skeptical about where those numbers came from.

Does Goose just believe every random tweet that comes across his phone?
Does he realize that he (most likely) is just a pawn for the guys at the Russian troll farm?
Or is he the Mio branch of the farm?

Re: The political hodge podge thread
That guy that the cops murdered in Sacramento was shot 6 times in the back and twice in the side. So when the murderers showed up, guns drawn, didn’t announce that they were cops, immediately started shooting, then claimed that the person was lifting his cell phone toward them and they thought it was a gun... well that last bit wasn’t true. So now they’re liars on top of murderers.

Right after 756 questions of mine are "addressed". Use Pylon's spreadsheet to keep track.
I've been working tonight to keep it simple for you fellas by using lots of pictures. Is it helping??

I read it. I read through every source ThinkProgress (the left's Breitbart) provides. A blogger is even used to bolster one of their arguments.
What they're actually saying when it's all said and done, is they don't like how he defines "mass" shooting. It's interesting because TP's detractors typically get annoyed by the concept of defining "mass shooting".
Either words/phrases have meaning or they don't. This is the same problem with the term "terrorist", which if we use it the way many of our posters on here want us to use it.... Lott's numbers would fit their criteria exactly.
What I do agree with, is that if there is a standard for defining "mass shooting" as ThinkProgress suggests there is, then it should be used and Lott didn't use it properly. If your goal is to show randomly selected victims of a public shooting, then Lott's methodology makes sense and in that instance the frequency tables make sense. It's not a table I use simply because of the arbitrary distinctions.
If we remove arbitrary designations of gun violence, and look at it as a whole. It has plummeted in the same time gun ownership has sky rocketed. CNN and ThinkProgress don't focus on that... they need the arbitrary definitions to harp on in order to push the agenda.
And the very council ThinkProgress uses here is the exact council that Obama ordered in 2013 to study the issue and came to the findings that I posted in the other thread. I'm an old ThinkProgress reader from back in the day, I'm very familiar with their journalistic strategy. Later in the article they even source "a BuzzFeed investigation later revealed"

Populations per CIA Fact Book
Macedonia - 2.1M
Albania - 3M
Serbia - 7M
Switzerland - 8.2M
Norway - 5.3M
Slovakia - 5.4M
Finland - 5.5M
Belgium - 11.5M
Austria - 8.7M
Czechia - 10.7M
France - 67.1M
US - 326.6M
Canada - 35.6M
What Goose (or the source he reposted conveniently leaves out) is every country listed doesn't sell assualt style rifles like the AR-15 or Sig Sauer MCX to any goof with cash. If you notice the US population is more than 3 times the population of France and at least 11 times larger than any of the countries in the top 5 countries on that list.

Facts. People searching for the “deep state” plug their ears and say “nananana “ when presented with them. If you don’t get how Russian bots convinced these idiots who to vote for , you’re naive as hell. They have no issue lying about anything on the internet. Won’t blink an eye. And they search for articles that help them believe the unbelievable. Scary really. These morons are armed.
