I don't think they would have added time back if the Steelers took the penalty. Why not push them back 5 yards when they only needed a FG?

They hit a 14 yard pass on the next play and got a 1st down.

First, I doubt it will last. Owners and/or coaches will eventually complain and the celebrations will be curtailed. It happened before.
