Picture is worth a 1000 words but where was the photo and victim over the last 2 Minnesota US Senate races that about 11 years have gone by before it was unearthed.  The victim statement I can understand but that photo has been floating out there for years.

Not justifying the attempt at humor but with that kind of image floating in the ether for more than a decade its seems more than coincedental it surfaces this week rather than n '08 or '14

If you don't find it more than coincidental that the photo wasn't made public during the hard fought 2008 campaign and 6 years later in 2014 yet it shows up now you must speed read over political inference.

Maybe the GOP didn't take Franken as a serious candidate and thought his SNL performances would be damning. Considering Minnesota elected a former professional wrestler as governor they clearly overestimated the SNL effect.

After that fuck up the GOP opposition research blew it again when they missed the photo preparing for the 2014 campaign.

Franken made a photo that can't be denied. A dumb move for a person who was contemplating a run for political office.

He deserves all the scrutiny he gets and any performers thinking about running for office should think before acting knowing anything digital will be around for decades.
