For real, Loyer missed the only shot I've seen him take. Open 3. He knows what to do with the ball. I don't think he's going to become Coach's whipping boy. It's going to be interesting to see how he handles some of the better athletes he faces.

McQuaid basically played backup point when Winston went to the bench. I have a feeling that's what we're going to see to start the season. For example I'm going to be very surprised if Loyer plays more than a spot appearance against Kansas. I think the only freshman who is going to get "real" minutes to start the year will be Henry. But who knows, I'm wrong a lot and I'm basically just wild ass guessing.

What did McQuaid do thats going to get him minutes at the point over OTPT? I'm confused.

I mean fine I guess. He didn't stand out as a midget the way Hoiberg's kid did, for example. Which is funny because Hoiberg is listed as 5'10 and people say Loyer is actually 5'10.

God I loved to watch Skiles.....but I don't think he could have survived in today's world. Too many people would have been documenting his hijinks.
