Anyone see the Thomas Friedman interview on CNN just now? His memories of living through the Lebanese Civil war was a good warning. Anderson Cooper shared his memories of Nigeria, Bosnia and Egypt. I think it would do these people that are threatening Civil War to understand what it actually is. Friedman warns once you breakdown a system it is very difficult to put it back together. I don’t think these people have any fucking clue what they are hoping for.

I'm surprised, and maybe it will be brought up in testimony, that Democrats haven't charged that he was coordinating the attack. He was. While the attack was happening, and his supporters had breached the capitol, he was making phone calls telling members to stop the certification. Basically holding the the capitol hostage in order to stop the certification. It's 100% coordinating the attack.

The house GOP is off the charts nuts. They were bullying the capital police last night because everyone has to walk through metal detectors now. They had stand offs refusing to let their bags be searched and as we all know many of them are bragging they will carry their gun to congress now.
