If you want to make it move listen to the 9/25 VCast on MSU's first practice. Of course it's Comp, but you can tell by his comments who looks good out of the gate. Four that he gushed about....

Henry - Not a surprise, but it like sounds he is even better than we all expect. He has Comp...and this Comp we are talking about here...at a loss for words 

Kithier - Playing with a chip. He's taken it up a notch and taken the Hauser addition personal. They should make each other better.

Gabe Brown - Bigger, faster, stronger. Filled into his frame. No longer looks like a teenager. More aggressive. Possible stretch 4.

Ahrens - Sounds like he is fully recovered and playing at a high level. Ahead of Langford as of today.

Other notables...

Langford - Back and a full go. But reading between the lines, he's a little rusty.

Hall/Marble - Big and thick. Getting their feet wet. Hall ahead now, but Marble probably has more upside. Both sound like maulers.

Rocket - More athletic than they thought. Ran the floor with speed and hustle.

Loyer - Added some pounds. Can now bench more than OTPT.

Bingham - Added a few pounds, but it doesn't sound like it is as much as all of us would like.

I'm going to be honest. I don't know if it was the kid being down there, or whatever, but I'm always proud of Izzo making the FF. Last year, I don't think I was ever more bummed out leaving out of the game as I was against TT. I don't think I could be more disapointed than I was last year. So, I guess that's my answer. When the kid came up to me with her little painted face with the Spartan helmet on her cheeks in her uniform and started bawling in my arms, I was just fucking sick to my stomach. Not mad, just disappointed. I thought maybe we would win it all last year when I looked at the fF teams. I won't be able to really tell you till I see who is in the FF if I"m that disappointed.
