Is this shit live? Is this a real game? Did we win the Natty? Did Mateen hit a FT? WTF is going?

Edit: No. No. No. Yes! TBD

I ain't paying for that shit, Floyd. Above stream works, no audio though.

Just clicked on one of these links...did Mateen just score?

Made the front end of a one and one.

Played around 3 minutes.

So many lineups used...hard to get a good read on the team. Probably by design.

3 point shooting was a little off. Rocket 0-5. Henry 0-3. Gabe 1-5.

Gabe had some pretty good dunks. Henry had 1. Tillman had a solid game.

Jay Bilas bringing strong regarding Izzo. MSU is the envy of the game and Izzo is not only the best basketball coach but best in American sport.

Caution Detroit News Article.

I didn’t realize this but we might play the #2,3&4 teams in America by December 3rd.

I like this quote from the article.
When looking at the numbers, it’s hard to argue with Bilas. We won't let that stop us though and we'll argue why Bilas is wrong.

He’s 65 victories away from Bobby Knights record of big ten victories. He gets 20 big ten games this year plus tournament. I say that brings it down to 45 or 46 this season. It looks like he’ll need three more years to break it after this year. He’ll be damn close after this year and two more, but, counting this year I think he needs 4 total years to break it.

Will he stay?

Curious as to what the state of the program is at this point vs last year?

My take I think we were better last year at this time but I think this team has a higher ceiling. I want to see some lock down defenders emerge and we need to clean up the turn overs/dumb fouls.

Langford was playing at this time last year, but we had 2 losses (Kansas and Louisville). I'd agree it was a better team.

Henry, Rocket, and Gabe need to step up big for this team to have a higher ceiling.

I can see Henry raising that ceiling, you can just see it with his finishing around the rim. I also think Xavier needs to step it up. He's looking a little sloppy and every time I see him I wonder if he's just an exhausted parent with too much on his plate. I have a feeling he'll pull it together before too long.

Yeah, I think he’ll be fine. I think I feel worse than him. He’s got his shit together and I believe him when he says basketball is what he does not who he is.

That said, can I ask the question that bothers the hell out of me? WTF was going on last year with his time off? Did they not consult a specialist then? Did they just take him to a local sparrow hospital foot guy last year? Don’t we have enough swag and money to take him to the best right away? Anyway, I know I’m not owed answers, but I’m a bit pissed/puzzled by it.

Dwags, I'm not an athlete. When I was 20, my left knee swelled up out of nowhere. I couldn't bend it more than 45 degrees. I went to one specialist, had my knee drained (1.5 years after it swelled up). I passed out, woke up to smelling salts. 1 month later I had surgery. Nothing. They didn't know what was going on. 9 months later the same knee swells up, this time I see a rheumatoid specialist. I took Embrel for 9 months and have not really had issues since.

I agree but it's just crazy. Unless it's an ACL or something guys don't miss over a calendar year with something that was supposed to be a minor 7-10 day injury. Feels like someone screwed up or something else happened after the initial injury

When I went to the rheumatoid specialist, they did a blood test. I have a genetic marker that predisposes me to arthritis. I think it is called a B5 marker or some shit like that. I don't even know what caused it and thought it would go away.

Where I was trying to go with the story is that you can see different specialists, but they might accidentally overlook something because they aren't trained in a certain field and the symptoms may not tip anyone off to look elsewhere.

I guess... Wife's a nurse. Just from hearing her and her co-workers... so many things are "winging it" and crossing fingers....

So my daughter had back issues from dance. She did our doctor msu doctors and finally tried this guy in St. Clair Shores. He did some stuff prescribed some stuff and inside three weeks she was pain free. So I hear her and my wife talk about this guy at parties gatherings whatever. They praise him like he’s a savior. I’m thinking well he maybe fixed the girl but you give recommendations like you’re guaranteeing he’s a miracle worker and he might not be as good for the next guy or girl. But it does seem some doctors have better luck than others. S

I agree but it's just crazy. Unless it's an ACL or something guys don't miss over a calendar year with something that was supposed to be a minor 7-10 day injury. Feels like someone screwed up or something else happened after the initial injury

And I wonder if that’s why we’ll never know.

If someone screwed up I guess it would have to be what the screw up was
