Yep, dancers. they had to meet bench press numbers weekly and had to increase to get "points" to go to events and shit. Dancers, bulking up. One time, during their use of the duffy for wind sprints Dantonio stepped in and stopped the guy making them run back and forth from the 10 back then 20 back and shit like that.

I'm not saying we should get rid of the staff or whatever, but maybe we shoudl have some kind of meeting of the minds and have set fitness and flexibility and strength standards for every team, every sport, every position every week. Maybe we do and I'm talking out my ass. Who knows.

i'm saying these kids probably burn more calories in a week than most people do in a year. and bingham obviously has a freakish build/metabolism. it just might not be possible for him to pack on 50 lbs or whatever

Oh, I'm not disagreeing. My point was, maybe we should invest some money into all of that for our athletes. Nutrition, S&C for each team. Research on best practices. We probably do and I'm full of shit, but with the injuries we have in football and with my daughter and her teammates bulking up as dancers and now reading this, I just was thinking out loud, maybe MSU isn't on the elite level of S&C and Nurtition. Maybe we are, and I'm not saying we aren't state of the art, but it was just my thought.
