Humor me for a minute.

Trump is floating that "everyone wants to get back to work, full churches on Easter Sunday", Also saying that huge parts of America are not affected by this and should be open for business. There are huge parts of America that ARE affected by this and they are struggling. Obviously population centers. Struggling with mass unemployment, getting medical supplies, timely healthcare, running local food drives, etc. A real struggle. Yet in red America......that he wants to open up......they're still gonna get that $1200 check. If you want to open up huge portions of the country, states if you will, their $1200 checks should go to states that aren't open. Namely states declared a federal emergency. Michigan doesn't get federal assistance for Katrina. This con man has found a way to buy votes and keep blue states punished.

Classic Trump. Says he's considering a forced quarantine of NY, NJ, and Conn, people get outraged, then he only does a travel advisory. He does this shit all the time, going public with the extreme, let people freak out, then does something less extreme so that it seems like a relief that it wasn't as bad as expected. It is so blatantly manipulative. On the one hand, I wonder why people even freak out about the initial claim. On the other hand, if people didn't freak out, he might not scale back from what he initially said at all.

If MNF was on 3+ cable networks and the 4 major broadcast networks, all at the same time, he might have a relevant comparison.

Not to mention most people are tuning in to hear the experts. That was ok last week, as Trump would only talk about a few things before passing it on to them. Lately, he's been trying to dominate the pressers more by making it a fight with the media, which drags it all out before anyone with a basic sense of decorum takes the podium.

My wife and I have gotten to the point of DVRing it, and watching later, so we can skip ahead to the heroes Fauci and Birx.
