Hey Spaceman - if you want to be outraged about the oil industries years long effort to be able to control the prices of gasoline in the US by exporting maybe you should look at gasoline exports.

Much of the doubling of oil since then can be directly attributed to Biden anti-oil policy. Canceling pipelines, moratorium on new exploration leases, increased regulatory burden, lack of support for new refining capacity. Any Putin effect is secondary to Biden foreign policy weakness. Let me remind you that Putin didn't invade anyone under Trump.
