I’m going to call it right now and say that one is my favorite. However, we already have a Bob Greenway in my family.
btw, any chance one of the parents brought in a duck today? There were feathers on the sidewalk in front of my house. There were ducks in my neighbor’s yard last night. The feathers look like they came from a juvenile, but I don’t know what feathers from a duck would look like if pulled off.

They were banded on May 24th.

I am pretty sure the "fluffy" is the youngest of the group, born three days after the others on 5/3 - the first two were born 4/30. You can pretty much tell their birth order by how much down they still have. Amazing that fluffy is not even a month old yet.

Thanks! I just went back and watched the scene play out. Before the jump/fall, it hopped back into the nest a couple times and quickly changed its mind, heading back out. Probably didn’t want to stick around a shit-infested heat box. lol

Yep, but then we couldn’t watch at night because of all the extraneous ambient light unless someone zoomed back in. Maybe add an extra camera in the future. All I know is I’ll be donating before this season plays out. I’ve gotten hours of entertainment from the students’ efforts and I need to show appreciation.
