I get it. I get how they want to sell the plus. But imo they need to sell the Sport first. The second game could be for all the marbles between two epic teams.

Couch was railing against this in his Monday Rube podcast. It has something to do with not being able to move the game to a different time slot to get it on B1G regular because some dual-purpose was already in use that day. IDK, I didn't follow that closely.

Selling the sport is going to be tough when only 1/2 the schools have a team. I think Couch's answer to the problem was just put all B1G college hockey on Peacock so fans would know where to look, and have regular paid announcers, not student announcers.

I think it was mentioned (maybe in this thread) that Minnesota gets more BTN games because they have a professional crew. Maybe they have a professional crew because they televise all of their games in Minnesota?
