I think that's not saying much.

We are who we thought we were. Ceiling 8. Hopefully floor 6.

Colorado is not who I thought they’d be.

I pretty much ignored all the CU hype, but it looks like they've got some big time playmakers.

Donte Moore goes in as fresh in second quarter for UCLA. Goes 4/5 for 115 and two td’s.

I think TCU took them for granted (and also have a terrible defense).

I don't know if Prime is a great coach, but TCU was outcoached yesterday.

Shedeur had a great day for sure. And Hunter played both ways...that's incredible.

What I love most about college sports is the love and loyalty to a particular school. The idea that an athlete will have a life time of gratitude to where they spent the 4 or 5 of their most formative years.

If Prime's way, brooming an entire roster and taking on mercenaries who are only interested in a paycheck or getting to the next level, then count me out for modern college football.

I'm not surprised you embrace it though Steve. You love douche bags.

PS, my apologies to the board for engaging fucking Steve. I will do my best not to in the future.

Can you be specific and tell us what aspects of the game he has modernized (and is unlike what other coaches have done)?

I think steve is just having a little fun with the word "modern".

I bet Colorado fans are ecstatic this morning. They won't be when Deion bales to go to the SEC/ACC. And with any success, he will.

I'm still a little amazed at what appears to be the total lack of prep for what kind of offense they were going to run. Or maybe their (TCU's) defense really is that bad, and just got exposed.

Northwestern at Rutgers is the only thing on CBS right now. Somewhere there’s an executive at Black Rock with a bright red face and a big vein pulsing on their forehead.

Am I a dick to say that it's okay not to "cheer" for MSU guys that have transferred?

The landscape has changed. NIL, etc- I don't wish them bad, of course, but we're not a JV team.

If you don't wanna be at MSU, fine. Find somewhere else to play. I don't have to celebrate it.

I find myself very conflicted between rooting for him and rooting against him. I am generally inclined to root for former MSU guys at other places, but Coleman hasn't exactly been uniformly positive in his commentary on MSU since leaving, so...

The portal giveth (K9), and the portal taketh (Coleman). I try to remain ambivalent on the taketh part. But it sure would be nice if Coleman was still catching TDs for MSU.

exactly.

I ain't pulling against him, but if someone expects me to cheer for him, he should be wearing an MSU uniform. Otherwise, I'll just cheer for the guys who want to be in East Lansing.

Coleman is the first guy we've lost who clearly would've helped us (Bernard and Thorne are debatable), so the feelings are more mixed with him.
