Not really too much for JS to speak of this early in his regime. TBH, there isn’t much he can say that’s going to light my fire for MSU football. Maybe it’s the time of year but probably how awful we were the past two seasons, plus a coach who embarrassed our school. Someone send me some cheerleaders to boost my football spirits.

Smith’s in a nice position.

Izzo and MSU basketball’s recent improvement is still generating stories and taking up bandwidth. MSU hockey is exceeding expectations as is MSU women’s basketball.

Haller hired Smith the day after Oregon State’s last game. Smith got a jump on the transfer window and was putting together his staff sharing the media spotlight.

Greenway is correct about Smith’s current low profile. I don’t see it as a negative.

No Spring Game. I’m not trying to spread gossip but that usually means that we have injuries. Or maybe he just doesn’t wanna play a game. April 20 will be an open practice.

But the first time that we’re in a 3rd And 2 Situation and I see a jet sweep gopher -1 yard, or it is 3rd and 8, And we run a 4 yard drag to our tight end or a 5 yard out to the sideline , I’m walking out going back to my tailgate doing shots and turning the TV onto a different football game.

There’s only so much you can take in one lifetime.

It was as if JJ thought every time that situation came up: They won’t be expecting it NOW!

Can’t decide which was more frustrating, the sweep or George’s constant running a trap on 3rd down.

I don't think we're going to see/learn much until actual games start in the fall. Spring "game" is Saturday (I think). Hopefully, we see some good signs then.

It’s Barrow’s 4th time in the portal. IDK what drives him there. Maybe he’s just looking for a higher paycheck. But whatever it is, like you said, people in the pros may think he’s more concerned about himself than the team or that he’s just flakey.

Belichick got roasted by Kraft. I mean...damn. Falcons' owner basically pulled the plug on a deal after Kraft said not to trust Belichick.

Barrow was a good player for us. But, we were terrible. Good Luck to him.
