I agree he probably doesn't care a ton, but tRCMB has some of the highest ad fees for the entire 247 network. That's because of traffic, not subs. People leave and those numbers go down. Probably not a HUGE difference for Trevor, but there will be some impact.

Wow, hadn't noticed the direction this thread has taken. Very happy to see that we're having an adult conversation. Let's tread lightly here, this community owes Trevor a huge debt of gratitude for the work he put into babysitting the old site over the years. I think its great that he get all the leeway in the world to tell his side of the story but there's no point in turning it into a debate. About 3:00 PM on Saturday I googled Spartan sWill and got a 247 site.  Yesterday evening it was gone.  

I am sure Trevor isn't pleased nor surprised.  I see his dilemma like Dutch Leonard's when he saw how Hollywood screen writers treated his novels after the rights were purchased.

I hope this site sticks around.  The uneven hand of the various 247 boards was silly.  Scummers post on the RCMB and their posts would stay while RCMB'ers who decided to post similar stuff on 247's umma board would get decades long bans.

Everyone has a right to make a buck and how 247 has turned the RCMB into all recruiting all the simply opened the door for this site.
