Feel free to help SOME, but talk to your accountant before you do anything and remember this, no one needs 1m dollars for anything. No one needs 100k for anything. Anyone who asks is not your friend.

85.8% of #Powerball number combinations have been sold for tonight's drawing. If nobody hits, Saturday's drawing will be $2 billion.

I thought the max winnings for instant tickets was something like $10,000. Dang.

Fantasy 5 was over $400K Friday so bought 10 sets of numbers on separate tickets. Looked at them this morning and discovered the guy gave me 10 sets of numbers for Classic 47 instead. One hit 4 numbers for $100. Just cashed it in and got 20 sets of numbers for Fantasy 5 which is up to $645K for tonight's drawing.

They draw two sets of numbers for Fantasy Five. You have to pay $1 extra for that. I won $200 last weekend, got the first four numbers and missed the last number. The second set of numbers the prizes are doubled, except for the grand prize.

Saw a documentary on this guy. He’s amazing. He figured it out and drove to various states. Later M.I.T. Kids also used a program to figure it out and joined him.
This guy made 26 million.
Knowing how many tickets to buy vs outcome.

Re: The Lottery
In my statistics class my professor explained winning the lottery like this. Figure out the odds of winning, in this case 1 in 575,000. Divide that by the capacity of Spartan Stadium: 75,000. So you end up with roughly 8 Spartan Stadiums. Now line them all up and fill them to capacity. Now pick one person out of all 8 filled to capacity stadiums to win the top prize. That's what your odds of winning looks like.

Right, it's the only one I do play. The odds are just too astronomical on the other ones. I win back about 1/3 of the money I do play. Not good, but better than nothing.

It's kind of like Golf isn't it? I mean you go for months with a dry spell, shooting shitty shots, game sucks. Then, one day you actually make two birdies and only lose 3 balls on the course. You score alright. So, you were ready to just stop, throw away your clubs and say fuck it. Just like this lottery. You know the odds suck, you're on a dry spell, then you hit that 80 dollar payoff, or in one case 500 and some and you say, shit, I'll keep throwing money in.
In my Kroger, they put the self serve machine right past the checkouts. So, when I pay with cash, (probably 70% of the time) I take the 5 or 6 folding dollars and keep them in my right hand and just stop at the self serve and get the tickets. I pay the two bucks because I like to get back to the car and look and see if I matched any numbers.

Some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve seen on a golf course. Hell in manistee an eagle was flying 40 yards over us. It’s so peaceful. And yet I’ve left so frustrated so many times.
