Probably. The tip of the LP is probably more north than parts of Delta and Menominee County. Pantry's sister went to MTU so you might want to ask him. He visited her during Winter Carnival once so he is kind of an expert.

Only two overused catch phrases? I was hoping for a couple more. Maybe a libtard or a social justice warrior.

Agreed, only an idiot would balance their cow on the front legs to milk it. Otherwise shit would have
to flow uphill to get to the teats. Any novice plumber can tell you the 1st rule of plumbing. Shit doesn't
flow uphill.

That building has been going up for 7-8 years. My guess is that Srodek took over the building last fall and is retrofitting it to meet their needs. Ultimately I think it will fail. Terrible location for a market.

Only a couple miles from Bozek's Van Dyke location. Place isn't that big and is kinda dumpy.Floyd Robertson wrote:The Pantry wrote:

Looks like Srodek's intend to open a Polish restaurant and brewery in the future.

Re: Hidden gems in Michigan
This Michigan orchard grows the best apples you've never heard of
NORTHPORT, MICH. — Most of the trees here lack ID tags, but John Kilcherman doesn't need them.
The 86-year-old farmer has been working his land at Christmas Cove Farm in Leelanau County since 1955. He knows this place like the back of his hand — a hand that right now is busy as he walks down another row of heirloom apple trees on an overcast autumn day: Brushing ripe fruit, plucking spotted or bruised ones from their branches, pointing at each different variety as he passes.
As he moves through the orchard, he recites the apples' names from memory: King David. Opalescent. Wolf River. Yellow Bellflower. Elstar. Summer Ramble. Seek No Further.

I am sure you've tried more than me since you're probably 30 years older than me but having tried a few dozen different UP places I am a big fan of Lehtos. We have some similar connections to, my brother went to Michigan Tech 99'. My family owns a house at the end of 6th street, swam in Superior many times, spent countless summers up there and quite a few winter festivals.
Family has been members of Hiawatha Sportsmen Club since the 40's where there is some of the best trout fishing on the planet. The gem is if you guys are up north and drive through Naubinway (just south of the club) pick yourself up a few pounds of the local breakfast sausage from Valliers grocery store then drive down the block to Kings Fisheries and pick up a smoked whitefish , lastly feel free to stop by the Snowmobile Museum to check out 1955 Sno-bird and many others.
