it breaks the sound barrier and you can hear a sonic boom. I just got done putting the sight on this motherfucker, and I am very tempted to take it outside and shoot it into the air just to hear the sonic boom.

These pellets are fucking small as shit... I figure if I shoot it nearly straight up in the air, that there is literally zero risk of hurting anyone. I just want to hear it break the sound barrier and make a tiny sonic boom.

Had a really nice .22 pump pellet gun back in jr high. Beautiful and sorta modern looking wood stock. Can't remember the manufacturer. Wasn't a Crossman or Sheridan. Sold it for $30. Wish I still had it.

Curious thing about a .22 pellet gun...a Q-Tip fits perfectly in the barrel. A couple pumps were enough to hurt a lot but the QT wouldn't draw blood

I gave away my pellet gun. I did some pretty stupid stuff with it. Figured I saved myself a trip or two to juvy. How could I be such an idiot making stupid decisions with the gun and still be mature enough to know it was better to walk away from it? There's a disconnect there.

If you like squirrel shooting them with a good pellet gun or .22 is the way to go.

I can tell you from personal experience don't use a 22 magnum like I did when I shot one with my Savage .22 magnum.20 gauge over under. Shot a couple in the head and the guy I was hunting with liked fried squirrel brains but there wasn't very much head left much less brains.

I was told that DNR's in several states are recommending staying away from eating squirrel brains because they can carry something like mad cow disease.
