Most of the characters this season kinda sucked. But the flip flopping was pretty crazy. Chrissy was insufferable, glad she didn't win. Ben definitely deserved it.
Next season looks lame. All the idiots are back.
They are actually bringing them back?? I thought it was new players but burning them with the stupid moves of the past?
Yeah which is even worse

That dude was a damn idiot. Also "Gonzalez"... I'm pretty sure was a dude/trans(interview bits on the show said everyone would be in for a "big surprise.") CBS already went there a while back on Survivor so it wouldn't surprise me if they were trying to stay ahead of the curve again. Too bad Gonzalez was terrible and got voted out right away LOL

Exactly that's why he was the best character by far at the beginning. Agree on Gonzalez.

He was a terrible liar. To win Survivor you have to be a very good liar.

Yep...Him telling them all he was a super fan and then not bringing the note back with his idol was one of the dumbest moves in the game. My fav so far is gay hillbilly from WV. He has a legit chance to go far because he is seen as so weak.

He's technically from Kentucky but he will be one of the fly under the radar types because why would they vote him off as he's no threat

If he was smart(as a player) which right now we really don't know he needs to align himself with some of the strong dude types and hot chicks....They always get voted out early(especially the hot chicks). He might be the hick version of Tai with a smaller skill set.

Didn't think of that comparison but you're right, it's close.

So who gets voted out tonight? I'm going with the Florida Keys dude. The swap this early will be interesting.

How is this show still on the air? Is it popular in the 60+ male demographic?

It still pulls solid ratings across the board. I'm sorry it's not quite sophisticated enough for your palate like Captain America.

The season premiere of “Survivor” led CBS to a win in the Wednesday Nielsen ratings.
The two-hour “Survivor: TempeTantrum Island” premiere drew a 1.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 8.1 million viewers. That combined with a new episode of “SEAL Team”–which hit a series low with a 0.8 rating and 5 million viewers–led CBS to win Wednesday night with an average 1.4 rating and 7.1 million viewers. NBC had previously won every night going back to Feb. 8 due to coverage of the Olympics and then the season premiere of “The Voice” earlier this week.

Reality TV is just nothing I would ever ever watch. There's something like 10,000 other shows I would watch before I ever got into these shows. In fact, I can't remember the last time I watched a network show week to week. Maybe The Office before it got stupid.

Survivor is the last network show I watch, been that way for years now. It's really more of a game show than reality TV, people scheming and conniving to off each other.

It's so fake though. I mean you lose your vote and know Dom is gunning for you and you don't play an idol and get voted off. I mean I'm not buying that that is anything but scripted.

IT'll be interesting to hear the post game. And I learned long ago to never underestimate how stupid people could be.
