I've watched it a couple of times. My wife and one of my kids missed it the first go around. What Varner did was still despicable, but I get it more now. He is immeresed in the LGBT community and thinks differently than you or I that are not. So I (sort of) get where he was coming from. Still not right, but I get it more and I think he was generally remorseful after he realized what he had done. Zeke handled it unbelievably. In the end, they can both make this out to be a positive thing. And as father of two teenage(ish) daughters, it also provided me with quite a few teaching moments.

Haven't read any of the comments ITT from right after the show, but it was an asshole move and Jeff Propst caught him in a lie as he tried to weasel out of it. He outed Zeke, then later tried to alibi by saying he thought people knew. BS move in order to win money. It's a game, but why let go of your humanity? It doesn't bother me that he's paying a steep price for his greed.

I kinda liked her the first time around, not this time. I still think Michaela is a hoot with her commentary but she must be a real pain around camp.
