I watched it in one sitting. The casting (apart from Cuba Gooding Jr) and acting was top notch. I remember being bored to tears when the OJ trial was happening, but I couldn't get enough of People vs OJ.

That's where your belief in keeping the system honest takes over. Defense attorneys advocate for clients, innocent or guilty, to make sure the government is doing everything by the book. The way I look at it, if the system works for the "worst" of us, it's likely the "best" of us will also get a fair trial.

I wouldn't draw any line. Our judicial system is the strongest when scumbags get legal defenses. The prosecution should ALWAYS have to prove their case, no exceptions.

Bad people have just as much of a right to hire attorneys as good people do. And attorneys have legal obligations to provide the best defense they can.

But there is enough shitstorm in this story to cover any and all parties involved.

They are going to get more viewers tying him to Team USA in the promos. At least for now, that will be what gets them clicks and ratings. If there are signs that more people than just the MSU Gymnastics coach knew and did nothing, then this becomes Penn State pt. II in the national media.
