the racist, bigoted christian sexual predator, the GOP and Russia are terrified of Biden..
"I think there's no question the establishment, the Democrat establishment, is trying to take it away from Bernie Sanders," Trump told reporters earlier in the day as voters headed to the polls. "There's no question about that in my mind."

mainstream media whines about Biden doing well in South Carolina..
and predicts that it won't last into Super Tuesday..

and predicts that it won't last into Super Tuesday..
Former vice president Joe Biden handily won the South Carolina Democratic primary, but take a step back and the victory wasn’t nearly as promising as his campaign might like to believe. Biden took a victory lap on the Sunday-morning talk shows — he’s desperate to close the gap with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) quickly — but look beyond his self-congratulations. It’s not the win Biden needed.

They mentioned on msnbc he doesn’t have secret service detail yet. I guess he waived it off after he was vp. Probably just relied on the venue security.

It is interesting that you seemed to buy the spin that Bernie never would have said a woman couldn't beat Trump...not because he didn't say it...but, because Hillary "beat" Trump.

I think most people are looking for four years of relative sanity before plunging into something more progressive. Maybe in 2024 America will be ready for the #YangBang.

Re: The 2020 Presidential campaign.
Just some general thoughts about Sanders.
He has some great ideas and there’s a reason they’ve worked their way into the dnc platform. I also think for the most part Bernie is a class act but his surrogates are nuts. They projected the idea of increasing the youth vote and steam rolling factions that were in their way. They weren’t into building bridges which is necessary in politics. We all saw the month of snake emojis, the attacks on African American voters as low information voters etc. not good. Add onto it that always looming in the periphery was this idea of ousting Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi is a generational talent she’s a Jordan, Kobe or a Lebron take your pick. They miscalculate how good she is and how well liked she is.
Last his base has proven to be politically immature. Bernie is a visionary and his ideas are being adopted by his opponents platforms but they are too immature to compromise and vote to see them win. In 2016 Hillary took on a big chunk of his platform and 25% of them didn’t vote for her or voted for Trump. That’s like driving the ball 90 yards, not getting the touch down and refusing to go for the field goal.

I think I recall you being all in on Bernie in 2016, and maybe not so much this time (at least maybe until a week or so ago). Sorry if that's a mischaracterization, but what changed?

Not so fast. Bernie is a visionary and his platform and ideas have found their way into the party. Also, if you watch locally you'll find a lot of similar style candidates you can vote for. If you care about Bernie's ideas you stay engaged and November you vote for Biden who will have some of Bernies ideas on his platform.

His surrogates basically gave factions of the party the middle finger thinking they could expand the vote and steam roll anyone in their way. Nice idea problem is young people don't vote. Most people like Bernie's ideas or parts of them but had little faith he could build the coalitions necessary to get them done.

You are so fucking dumb, steve. It makes me so sad that apparently the democratic establishment operates on exactly the same level you do.
As long as I live, I will never understand the love for Nancy Pelosi. She's a consummate politician, and I mean that in the worst possible way. Calling her a Jordan is hilarious. What are her 6 titles? What are her MVP awards? Is it the GIFs of her clapping sarcastically and tearing up the state of the union?

Steve can ramble on about sanders supporters all he wants (and continue to be very nauseating and beating a dead horse at this point) but Biden is winning because dems think he has the best chance to beat trump. It seems fairly simple.

Re: The 2020 Presidential campaign.
Clearly never gonna happen for Bernie. Too bad.
I'm giving the Democrats one last chance. You wanna run Biden? Fine, I'll pull the lever for him in November. He better win, and he better do a great fucking job. If he loses to Trump, or if he wins and then governs exactly like Obama (center domestic policy, center-right foreign policy, basically), I'm not voting for any more democrats.

I'm giving adult advice on how to win. You can love it or hate it....
a) turn out to vote
b) build bridges and support for your cause as opposed to giving people the middle finger.

Cam you might as well say “I’m going to flip this coin and if it lands on heads or tails I’m never going to vote for a democrat again.”
Which is fine, I get it. As long as we keep insisting that we actually want to be republicans with slightly less racism then I guess there’s no real point is there

Steve. Your opinion about sanders supporters seems to be based mostly on twitter. That’s unfortunate because according to everything I’ve seen, read, and heard, they were polite as shit in the campaign trail and at the primaries and caucuses. So maybe don’t base your opinions on a few trolls, and become what you say they are. Which is an uninformed closed minded tool.

Is there actually any data on that yet? I can’t imagine that there’s anything other than a smattering of exit polls to base young people turn out vs 2016 primary young people turnout this early on

Blue check marked and officially titled as Sanders surrogates. Also, today Bernie released an ad saying the billionaire class and establishment doesn’t want the movement. African americans and suburban mothers resent being labeled that. They are the ones that drove the numbers up and turned out the victory.

That is more or less what I'm saying, because I think If you asked Biden, he'd say he's going to govern just like Obama.
The only reason I'm not done with Democrats as soon as non-Bernie gets the nomination is that Biden is still preferable to Trump. I just really wish we had a viable non-corporatist party in this country.

No doubt. And hopefully Bernie and his supporters realize that this time and fully back the party. If they don't show up, or if 10 fucking percent of them vote for Trump again, then it's 4 more years.
Bernie still had/has a good chance to beat Trump with a strong anti-Trump backlash, but Biden probably has a better chance.

Honestly, that's a very strong point when Bernie plays the billionaire/establishment card. It sounds disingenuous from Bernie, relying on class warfare, because billionaires didn't swing thse states for Biden.

I think Sanders fans have miscalculated how much people actually like Biden and Pelosi.
Last night during Biden's speech he vowed to work hard to keep Pelosi as speaker of the house and the crowd roared.
