Now that the conspiracy theory folks have some congressional seats, I hope they reveal all the intergalactic lizards in our government.

After hearing NYT daily podcast the other day with the guy that replaced Justin Amash (who is now a libertarian, btw) I think it is possible to get back to a place where Dems and Rs can have fundamental policy differences in a healthy way, but it’s up to the republicans to come back from the edge. They need to purge trumpism. If people like Peter Meijer are an indication of the future of the party, it cold happen.

There was another one who lost her bid for Congress the West Palm Beach area that said that the Stoneman Douglas massacre was fake. I'm pretty sure she was trying to represent Trump's district.

I remember Trump tweeting support for her in the primary, and then congratulating her when she won that primary in August, when her views were well known and widely reported...and then 2 weeks later the dad of one of the victims spoke at the RNC. How he could do that after Trump openly supported a nut who thinks his daughter's death was fake is beyond me.

Obviously some attention whoring, but I can't help but wonder if this is a ploy to try to protect her ass from getting kicked out of Congress if it is found that she aided and abetted the terrorists. She can play the ultimate martyr and "prove" the corruption by claiming that she was booted for filing these articles of impeachment.

Hasn't even been in Congress for 3 weeks and she's already signaled to her colleagues on both sides of the aisle that she won't be taking her job seriously.
