Agreed. Seems more like a touristy thing for families with young kids who are easily entertained. After news got out about them repurposing food left on diners’ plates, it was an easy call to redline Zehnder’s entirely. No big loss.

Frankfort, Bob. Very small school but really good football in the 90s and 00s. Probably a couple state titles in there. I'm sure they have played Mio at some point, too.

I think a quarterback in 76 named Bert Von (Vahn?) was recruited by msu. Not sure if he was also turned into a defensive back by Rodgers or if he stayed as a qb. Or if he went to msu now that I think about it. But I do think he threw for o er a mile and a big deal was made of it.

Bert Vaughn. Backed up Eddie Smith. Split time with Bryan Clark. Then backed up Leister his last year.

Looks like there were a lot fewer people living up north full time in 2020 than in 2010.

Welp, I leave tomorrow morning for five blissful days in Traverse City. Not my idea. When I was 18, 19, 20, that town was fun. Now, I want to poke my eyes out with knitting needles. However, It’s my wife’s birthday trip choice and we get to hang with our daughters up there. Those three love the town I’m just going to find a place to drink. Please enjoy my drunk posting for the next four nights thank you

Love the Grand Traverse Bay area, but I have no attraction to TC. A couple spots I can get behind: Blue Tractor BBQ & West End Tavern patio.

Thirlby Field is a nice place to catch a HS football game.
