Can't say that I have. Name doesn't ring a bell.tGreenWay wrote:Floyd Robertson wrote:

I will. Have you ever read any of Mills' earlier work? I read one of two of his novels and enjoyed both. He's a good enough writer that he might be able to hit the right tone with Rapp.

Re: What are you reading? Books Suggestions
Solid bump, was thinking about starting a Book thread. Just started reading on the reg again.
Recent reads:
Station Eleven - apocalyptic book, pretty solid, fast read
Iron House - mob-type thriller, wasn't a fan Hart's long winded writing style and it was pretty easy to predict. Had some decent moments though.
Night School (current read)- Latest Jake Reacher novel... basically romance novels for bros. First Reacher book I've read, but I dig the pace and writing style. I'll definitely hit some of the earlier books.
One of my favorite books is Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. Great read, but you have to power through the first couple of chapters (took me a couple of tries). I think I'm going to hit up the The Baroque Cycle series next (same author).

Think I'm starting to lean towards non fiction. Eventually may get into fiction, but I can watch a show/movie for that.

So, I have read Free Fall, Burn Factor, and Sphere of Influence since posting that. He's pretty good.

Good to know. I read Sphere several years ago and could read it again, since I've forgotten everything about it. I might wander over to the library today and browse their used books section to see if his name pops up. I have vacation coming up and could use something good.

I think I may have to pass, goose. As much as I enjoy a nice thought provoking book, I'm not sure I'm going to go to Ducky Dynasty for that.

Dumbass (j/k). I might check out the second book on your list. Just repost it here.
Started another bromance Jack Reacher novel, Killing Floor. They are easy reads while pedaling the hamster wheel at the gym.

I might like the Reacher novels. Movies were pretty solid, despite Reacher being played by a manlet.
