How many times did Trump and/or his casinos declare bankruptcy? How much money did his companies default on while he lived like a prince?

Goose didn't realze the mortgage crisis was as much about free market fans refusing to license every mortgage underwriter, refusing to institute bankng rules requiring the lending institution to hold and service the paper for a minimum of 7 years before it could be bundled and sold?

We had people with criminal records and other unscrupulous individuals who weren't licensed, their loans were approved, processed weren't tracked and it was all done under the license of one principle of a mortgage company who wasn't accountable either. A shitload of people made commissions including the person who originated the loan, the principle of the mortgage company, the finance company that wholesaled the funds, the salesman from the wholesaler who sold the completed mortgages to investment bankers and their brokers who bundled the bad papper and sold them to investors around the world. Why did the last group get screwed? Because they didn't realize the US mortgage that was about as safe a bet as one could make wasn't safe any longer. It wasn't safe because US lenders encouraged easier loan qualification because under the rules used until the mid 80's there weren't as many mortgages as there were investors wanting to buy them. So they kept lowering the bar to create more paper to be sold

The Big Short is still on Netflix. Its worth a couple hours of your time. It wasn't 60% BS. It was unbridled, unregulated capitalism run amok. State and Federal legislators got strong lobbying efforts from lenders using everything from free market, too much "job killing" regulation to self regulation arguments and they prevailed. After all that's happened, MI GOP leaders refuse to introduce legislation to license mortgage sales people. You need a state license to sell real estate, sell stocks, sell insurance, cut hair but you can sell millions in mortgages by any means, get your commissions and never be registered in MI.

Canada didn't share in our mortgage crisis. They require their lenders to hold the paper and service loans for years not hours which ended up happening in the US. So no Canadian bank VP like Scotia Bank as an example wants to get called in to explain why 25%-50% or more of the loans written out of a Peterborough or Windsor branch are in default 2-3 years after his loan officers approved them.

In other words, Planned Parenthood doesn't pretend that prenatal care represents a big share of what they do. For the most part, they provide contraception, abortions, STD testing, and various screening services. The folks who ran this sting operation knew this perfectly well, and deliberately chose to call and ask about a service that very few clinics provide—all so they could get lots of "undercover" phone calls of Planned Parenthood receptionists turning them away when they asked for help. They could have saved themselves a lot of time by just sticking a camera in front of a couple of pages of Planned Parenthood's annual report.
