Michigan State’s visitor list for Saturday’s home football game against Indiana will be a star-studded one on the basketball side.

While there will not be as much volume as far as football recruits, there will be talent, including one official visitor, Wake Forest (N.C.) Heritage defensive end Joseph Boletepeli, who told Scout’s Michael Clark he “should be coming.”

Boletepeli’s recruitment has been East Coast heavy. He already has taken an official visit to Maryland, and North Carolina State is favored on the 247Sports Crystal Ball. North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee are among the other schools he is considering.

The Spartans getting the 6-foot-31/2, 244-pound senior on campus is a major step in their chances to pull him away from those schools. Boletepeli recently told Clark that distance from home will not factor into his choice.

I don't know shit about recruiting, but from what I have picked up here and elsewhere....if there is a "home run" in the 2018 class, it's this kid.

We were in on him early showing him love before anyone else. He has offers from everyone but supposedly our loyalty has gone a long way. He attended the game today on an OV.

It is being said elsewhere that Coach D took him and another recruit as well as a current player to dinner after the game and that they got to soak up the atmosphere in the lockeroom after we skullfucked PSU. Pretty cool.

Then again who needs 4/5* WRs when you have THE FREAK, Cody White and Little Rison.

Just got off the phone with @DantonioMark. He Blessed me with a @MSU_Football offer.

From another board

He has 3 years to play 3 meaning he already redshirted his freshman year and played JUCO ball last year. So he would be a RS-SO and have 3 years to play.

He is a December grad so his grades are in order. He started at UC-Davis and redshirted before transferring out to JUCO. His UC Davis profile says he has an eye on Law School in the future and had a 3.5 his freshman year. Sounds like he wanted to go to JUCO in order to get a scholarship to play P5 football.

If his grades are in order, that's a huge plus for MSU as we typically have issues with the stricter JUCO criteria. Was briefly committed to TCU before opening back up his recruitment. Likely due to additional offers that had him reconsidering.
