Is it possible for a wild turkey to mate with a goose? I only ask because as I'm driving throug my sub earlier this morning, I'm pretty sure that I saw the wild turkey chasing the goose for that very purpose.  

I think I saw that happen at a show in Mexico once.

I did the same thing one year. I found that if you spend the first day gently fingerblasting them it makes the job go much easier when it's time to get down to business later on. They're more comfortable with you. Trust me, I'd rather put in the time fingerblasting 2-300 turkeys than git my johnson pecked just once.

Pro tip: go ahead and fingerblast all of them even the males, sorting them out isn't worth the time it takes.

As I AI hens this summer, I am going to think of this post. I will either giggle every time I think of it or be disturbed.

What's your favorite Round 1 matchup? Being from Metro Detroit and having family on the East Coast the Wings vs Bruins series is tops for myself. Boston won the first game in the regular season, but Detroit won the last three. I can very easily see this series go 6 or even 7 games, and the 3 goal loss yesterday was surprising even though Boston was playing for everything. I really think Detroit holds serve at home and head back to Boston up 3-1. Even if they only manage 1 win, I still like Detroit in a best of 3.
