Squirls dude.
Squirrels can't get the seed from the feeders, but I always throw some on the ground for them. They and the bluejays get peanuts in the shell.

The one near Frandor? Fuck that place. I had to go there to get a replacement title and it took FOREVER.
I've used the text service and the time reservation and both have worked great. I couldn't have waited more than two minutes with the text notice. In fact, I made a mental note to move a little faster to get back there the next time I use it.

I had to renew my plates a couple of weeks ago and I used the web app. I had always just mailed in the payment but this time I thought I'd try something different. As it turns out, it's some 3rd party app that asks you a bunch of questions and calculates an estimated price and then tacks on $20 for handling and they service a bunch of states. OK, I don't feel bad about being ripped off $20 for handling, but WTF is up with the estimate? Can't they at least interface with the MI SOS to extract the exact price that was printed on my renewal form? When my charge went through it was same as on mailed renewal form, but the estimate on the web app was like $60 more, lol. So sad.
Did tab renewal a couple weeks ago using this state site

I probably used Colorado's site.

In the end, I honestly don't know. I'd have to dig out my credit card statement and compare it to the original order form that came in mail, which is long gone. I remember seeing the charge of $160 something on the my CC site when I logged in to check it weeks ago and thinking that's more like it . I did get my tab in the mail, but next year I going to pay more attention.

Watched some of my old baseball games with my pops tonight. I thought it was weird at the time when he would video tape all my at-bats and starts on the mound, but now i'm so glad he did. It was awesome.

God that would be fun once in a while, I'd love to have anything of my stellar Little League/Pony League career on film. Only for me it would be the laugh value.

Man Accused Of Trying To Illegally Return 10,000 Cans To Stand Trial
Cantucky
HOWELL (WWJ/AP) – A Michigan man who authorities say was trying to illegally return more than 10,000 cans for 10 cents apiece is heading to trial.
A judge ruled Wednesday there’s enough evidence against Brian Edward Everidge of Columbiaville for the case to move forward, The Livingston Daily reported.
State police Motor Carrier Officer Clifford Lyden testified he stopped Everidge for speeding in a truck April 27 in Livingston County. Lyden says the truck was packed with aluminum cans that Everidge said were from Kentucky.

I hit a home run as a kid off of my best friend back in little league. I would love to have that on tape since we still get together from time to time.

That you support the return of public hangings for nearly every offense to prevent crime.

If you get to the point of jury selection, have strong opinions and say it is likely that you can't be impartial.
Don't fall for the "it's your civic duty" bullshit.

170 to start. Dismissed about 100. I wasn't. Now they've called about 35 into judge masseroni's court room. Not me. I'm here in the waiting room till 4:30 I bet. Some guy named Todd didn't come back from lunch. He was called. He's fucked.

The one time I had jury duty was the same. I spent all day Monday in a waiting room doing jack shit. Never got the call. Had to call in, in the morning every day for the rest of the week to see if I was needed. Never was. I think I got a check for $15 or something like that.

Because I'm not a philistine? Good god, man, you don't want my feet exposing themselves during the hottest month of the year. There's got to be something collecting the dead skin and soaking up the perspiration. I couldn't do that to my wife and neighbors.

I wonder what happens to Todd. Guy walked around yelling his juror number, then circled his name. He looked agitated. Isn't that a crime?

The one and only time I was summoned was for the Steven Grant trial, not that anyone in the same class knew what they were summoned for. First day was to fill out some 800 page questionnaire after which point we could leave, but it was about a 1/2 for the whole process. There must have been 300-400 the first day in the morning session alone. Then I had to call back 24 hours later to see if you were selected for round two.
It wasn't until you showed for round two that you learned what the case was. The chosen few (probably about 1/2 of the original people summoned) got to sit through the initial voire dire. Not like what you see on TV where there are 12-16 jurors in the box and each lawyer rifles questions at you. Each of us were called into the courtroom one at a time, sworn in on the witness stand, and had undergo the questioning.
Something I said disqualified me, because I never got a call back. It would have been an interesting trial to sit through, but that would have cost me 6-8 weeks out of my life.
