Thinking of changing up my workout routine and taking a back to basics approach.
Torn between Starting Strength and Stronglifts 5x5. Both have smartphone apps which do all the planning for you so that's a huge plus. I'm leaning towards SS but it eventually calls for power cleans which I haven't done in over 15 years.
Maybe I'll just skip both altogether and embrace being a fat bastard.

This is random as all hell but I just had the thought that when the zombie apocalypse (or any other brand of apocalypse for that matter) comes about there will still be a very small segment of the population that, be it through obliviousness or willful ignorance, will still be attempting to carry on with daily life.

Sadly one of the things that's become nearly extinct. It used to be in the summer in addition to playing in softball tournaments that at least a couple times a year you could get into a blooperball tournament. The Northwoods Bar in Mio used to host one variety or the other every weekend.

Basically a much larger softball - like hitting or fielding a lightweight shot put. Some tournaments banned gloves, some let you wear them.

I e been watching this shit for six fucking years. The local team my daughters go to school at suck ass. Just suck ass. Beyond sick. Told the wife this year I'm leaving at half when the kid is done with her halftime stuff.
