Why not Holmes?
Scrap the program.
Maybe the third will rotate by game.

Could be something like that. I did see mention somewhere of Dantonio picking two more players for the Jedi council.

Todd McShay is jizzing in his pants, getting ready to bash LJ Scott for not being a captain this year.

All kidding aside, very cool, gHost. I'll never forget my first Spartan FB game. At least until dementia kicks in.

One of my first I saw the USC team with Simpson light it up on us. Can't say I specifically remember any plays but I remember the game and pagentry. I was about 6 then.

Mine was MSU-um, 1972 at the toilet bowl. It was a 10-0 loss to the walvies in Duffy's last game against um. I don't specifically remember any part of the game, but I remember the husband/wife right behind us. She was a Spartan; he was a walvie. They jawed at each other the entire game. I also remember that paper mache Spartan head that rested on some poor schlep's shoulders. At the end of the game, as that mascot was heading into the tunnel, he was pummeled with crap thrown by those classy um fans. I also specifically remember that Spartan head shouting some words at those fans a 9/10 year old hasn't heard before.
It was my first introduction to the rivalry, and it was awesome.

Re: 2017/18 Football Thread
I know they just gave up a TD, but Pur O & D playing with energy. Talent wise they aren't very good but based on the last two weeks, Brohm has injected some life into this program.
They get some playmakers at WR and some D and they will give the West some fits.

Good news for MSU's defensive front: Tim Lester just told me WMU couldn't get a push against MSU like it did against USC.

This is indeed good news. If you read other posts, the MSU guy who does serious film breakdowns and watches games twice has some serious concerns about USC's DL.

Hey guys. I gotta say. PSU is the only team in the East that looks impressive thus far (unless you count Maryland). Maybe we can win it this year.
