Shit, hopefully we can steal another one before seasons ends, we're the dogs tmrw night and in both games vs No.1 ND and again most likely against whomever we play in the BTT.

That being said we have a really really young team that tbh has exceeded expectations. I have more to write up and opinions here that I will get to but for now enjoy my silence. I think we should expect to .500 at a bare minimum next year.

Tough loss tonight since we had our chances and Jones stood on his head and we couldn't bury one late. Despite the 2-3 loss, we split the series with PSU. Tonights game was a sell out and was pretty crazy at the end.  Our final regular season games are next weekend @ #1 Notre Dame.

Final weekend series before the big ten tournament and we have wrapped up the 7th seed already! MSU (11-19-2 ) is down in the bend of the south, Indiana to face the Big Ten regular season champs and no.5 Notre Dame (22-8-2). MSU will likely play a best of three series against OSU next weekend in Columbus for the BTT and their only hopes to make the NCAA tourney would be 'ship run in the BTT. ND is trying to stay in the top 4 in the Pairwise and would like to get back to winning form, they're 3-5-1 in their last 9 games and have lost three straight.
MSU has improved greatly since they lost the home series vs ND at Munn in early December (during the midst of ND's 16 game winning streak) and are 2-2-1 with big wins over No. 24 Wisconsin in Madison, No. 17 Penn State and tying with No. 11 UM in Detroit.

MSU is lead by in goals by Freshman forward Mitchell Lewandowski who leads all Freshmen in the nation with 17 goals. Taro Hirose leads the team in assists and points with 26 and 39, respectively. Sophomore John Lethemon will likely get the nod between the pipes for the rest of the season as he is 11-16-2 with 4 shutouts, a 2.69 GAA, and a 90.8% save percentage.
