Maybe I was day dreaming when we went over this in Econ classes, but this low interest rate thing can only last for so long before borrowing actually becomes difficult and money actually retreats from circulation. Heh. I definitely stopped logging in and I don’t scroll through the feed or time line or whatever they call it. I use a google browser to pull up a few news folks and I scroll their feed. Even though I think that site is over all bad this targeted browsing is useful for current events imo. So yes I’m not completely off of it. I think there’s value to the news on there.

That's true...but Twitter does employ some really shady engagement trickeration. Like when I clicked on the Jay Inslee trending link this morning and "other useful results" pop up in the timeline.



As useful as Twitter is, it can be very maddening. Not to go all tinfoil hat, but their algorithms are definitely trying to steer public opinion.

Agreed, I don't know if it's twitter doing it or Russian/Chinese troll farms making things go viral on there to stir up more discord but the whole experience distorts reality. I like my new approach of just going on and spot checking a few journalists/posters on there.
