Well he's apprehended. Wouldn't be surprised if he runs for congress or gets an anchor position at Onan. He's officially launched his brand.

I've been to dozens of school board meetings in several districts and have never understood why parents with an axe to grind about a decision or proposed decision drag their children with them up to the speakers podium as props.

I don’t know but sounds like it was a real doozy.

Everyone hates the news papers and have turned to alt media. Steve Bannons podcast is #5 on iTunes. Add in social media and YouTube channels and you have a toxic and powerful propaganda machine. A few years ago we were all laughing at q in this forum and here we are now with two Q members in congress and next election several more will run. It’s really fucked up.

My empathy for anti-mask and anti-vaxxers is gone and so is my patience with their use of religion to justify their actions. So far we don’t live in a theocracy.
When I read about COVID deniers like radio hosts, social media influencers, politicians (and their spouses) dying from complications of COVID my thought is that’s one more hospital bed open, one less spreader and one less voice denying science. Â
When I read about teenagers hospitalized because their family are anti-vaccine or children under 12 hospitalized and dying from COVID I get frustrated to the point of anger which is why I avoid protests and school board meetings where I suspect the wacky doodles will show up.

BLM protests get a little violent when the cops go agro & the GOP wants to put them down with extreme prejudice. White people want to overthrow the govt or blow shit up & it's "we understand your anger".

I remember years ago... even on the old board.. when I called Republicans racist, they would become enraged.AvgMSUJoe wrote:They ALL believe that. Poor and immigrants are keeping them down. If someone could tap into that anger and show them the truth, a real progressive agenda would be unstoppable.
When I said their little Tea Party revolution had nothing to do with {ahem} "government spending" but, instead, had everything to do with having a scary black man from Kenya in the White House, they would become enraged.
when they elected their racist, bigoted christian sexual predator hero president, they said it wasn't because he appealed to their racist views... they just {ahem} "wanted their country back"..

Bob was on to something and all one had to do was look around when the Tea Party got traction when the US had its first black President.
At least around me the Tea Party members who started showing up to shut down ACA meetings were all white, all attended churches with little or no minority members and felt then as they do now that decorum and civility is for others.

Bob was such a prescient genius, being able to see that the Tea Party was a bullshit movement. He is truly a visionary, no one else ever had any inkling that they weren't acting in 100% good faith. It's really quite impressive, and I'm clearly just jealous of his towering intellect.

Re: The political hodge podge thread
The ballot contains two separate questions: first, yes or no on the recall, and then, in case a majority votes to recall Newsom, a ballot that does not include the governor’s name but does include 46 others. If less than 50% vote no on the recall he loses. His replacement might be:
Chauncey "Slim" Killens (R) Retired Correctional Officer
Angelyne (No last name, No Party Preference) Entertainer
Nickolas Wildstar (R) Musician/Entrepreneur/Father
Jacqueline McGowan (D) Cannabis Policy Advisor
Or any one of 42 other candidates (including a Kardashian).
Should we make some bets?
