I don't think people understand the role of a head coach in the NFL. If Patricia is that in the weeds in Detroit, he's not going to be a good head coach.

I mean it's not out of the realm of possibility, and I hate (abhor, really) using this comparison but it's not that much different than hiring Dantonio. You go from a dynasty of mediocrity to being successful with the right hire.
