unfortunately, as we've already established, it's going to take much more than dead children to make the GOP and NRA listen.

These kids need to mobilize and vote. Republicans are more afraid of losing power than losing children.

I don't believe that at all Bob. However what I do believe is that the optics of them caring about unborn children more than the ones that are trying to be productive member's of society might be wearing thin.

Maybe I'm bias but a lot of conservative radio shows sounded worried yesterday. I mean it was death con 5. First time in my life I've heard hosts on the show say "for all you liberals turning in remember....then make some plea about how they are people too but they dont trust the government at all". They even tried to push back on callers that blamed the liberals, or no youth football, or something insane on the shootings. Granted it was half ass attempt but I'll give them credit they at least did it.

I don't doubt that they're worried, but I suspect their worry is rooted in the loss of money/power. Not in the loss of children and what that means for a civilized society.

So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem.
