Disliking boomers (people born between ‘45-‘64) is typical current America.  It’s often The Other Boomers but not my parents.

Like the majority when asked describe themselves  as middle or lower middle class but rarely in the bottom 20%.

Right now there are a lot of folks who voted for GOP candidates who think all the cuts in the social safety net and Federal health won’t hurt them or their family until they find out what’s been taken for granted over the last 50 years is no more.

Then we’ll see the whining and complaining turn into howling.

The point is there’s a huge group of people who refuse to get a colonoscopy, in large part out of fear of the procedure. At least the poop in a box is something doctors can work with, based on experience with the product and understanding its limits. Better that than telling someone they have stage 3 or 4 colon cancer and should get their affairs in order.

Is 40 the new number? I know it’s been adjusted downward a couple of times. If 40 is considered too early (unless deemed medically necessary), then the dark-hearted rat bastards working for insurance companies may not pay.
