Yeah, but no way is this all fake though. If so, it is beyond brilliant the way they've made all of the communication look like a mis-managed clusterfuck that surprises no one because that is what people expect from this administration. That would take some incredible self-awareness to recognize that and some incredible and astute planning to execute it on purpose. Hard to think that they're capable of either.

I just think this is his hail mary. Desperate as can be, he tells his docs he can't stay there. Tells them to pump him full of whatever just to make him able to walk and put on a show for a few minutes here and there. Meanwhile, in so doing, he completely misjudged that no one is there to catch his hail mary, as his WRs are running shallow crossing routes on 4th and 2 because there's still 5 minutes left in the game. In other words, his joyride, his early leaving from the hospital, and especially his "Dont be afraid if Covid" statement, is going to lose him more votes than he gained.

I’m sure he’s positive. I’m just laughing at the orchestrated theater once he did. Some of it is sickening. Basically dismissing what the average person has to go through and more or less telling them to suck it up if they get it.

It's a two way street with Trump though. guy stages the Helicopter landing on the WH lawn, getting out, walking up the Truman stairs, (he never does that he goes in on ground floor) getting to the top, taking his mask off and giving two thumbs up. If that wasn't staged for the media and the saplings, I have no idea what was.

Couldn’t agree more. Even when they fixated a camera on the empty helicopter for a while I was like here we go again. It was the news camera fixated on the podium 2016 all over again.

My take on all this I hope he gets better but I don’t give a fuck about up to the minute updates. I’m still convinced he’s awful at leading us through a pandemic and has been a terrible example through all this. Mask up people and vote.

I am personally boycotting multiple restaurants due to their lax mask enforcement. (and I usually order appetizers AND multiple drinks)...

The sad thing about it all is instead of politicizing it and making it a partisan fight if we all just wore masks and practiced social distancing for like 30-40 days we'd beat this pandemic back dramatically. It's beyond frustrating that this is where we are.

I mean honestly, anyone who has been following the whole covid thing who has half a brain knows that antibodies would work. The trick is more being able to mass produce those antibodies, deliver them via plasma or vaccine or other methods, pass through clinical trials and ramp up production to a scale that would actually make a difference. We've been speculating here for months, maybe since damn near the beginning of this thing that these guys were trotting around like morons maskless because they likely had already been given an antibody treatment. Turns out they were just dumb.

I think the WH is going to start pushing herd immunity as soon as this super spreader event is over. They're going to pivot to an official message of "Open everything and there vulnerable can stay home". This is not going to be great news for the rest of us, because the cult will take this to an extreme once it becomes an official thing.
