The biggest blunder on Biden's watch will be that he didn't go scorched earth politics. Should be fighting right now to pack the courts, end the filibuster and make DC a state. Not saying he'd be successful at any of these things but the fascists are coming. Next time they get control they aren't going to let go. Time to save our democracy is running out.

democracy is hanging by a thin thread. America was almost lost on January 6th, 2021. If the people responsible for it - not the Mio-esque knuckle-scraping foot soldiers who are expendable to the regime, but the people who organized, led and ordered it - aren't brought to justice in some fashion, the next time will be successful.

and the Democrats show absolutely no interest in doing anything about it.. they don't want the mainstream media to say mean things about them.

Most of these idiots are gearing up for fascism, revolutionary war pt II and they are letting their own voters die by discouraging masks and vaccines. I for the most part agree with you but this day and age anything is possible with the GOP.

Some legal guy I saw on TV seems pretty convinced there's enough evidence to try Trump for treason. Will some one please grow a pair and indict this guy?

Treason is the only crime defined in the U.S. Constitution. According to Article III, Section 3:

It's seems pretty clear you could easily indict members of Congress and some capitol police for their roles in the insurrection. But we all know it won't happen either. RIP to the rule of law in a democracy.

It's definitely not going well for several Faux News personalities who admonished Meadows via text to tell Trump to stop the insurrection but glowed about the riot on the air. People are saying that's kind of hypocritical.

Congress passed legislation Tuesday that will allow the Capitol Police chief to "unilaterally" request assistance from the D.C. National Guard or federal law enforcement agencies in emergencies.

Why it matters: Lawmakers have previously said the lack of authority to directly request assistance delayed the National Guard's response to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and left Capitol Police officers stranded and outnumbered during most of the attack.
