What is up with all the spam emails I'm receiving lately? It looks like they figured out how to bypass the spam filter. I'm getting emails with names like bendover@andgrabyourankles instead of the normal heybigguy@gmail.com

Been working on a re-work quote for three weeks and feeling burnt out. Frustrating as hell because the original program started back in 2010 and has had many band-aids applied since. The ultimate automotive customer recently extended the program another three years, forcing our client to re-evaluate their current production process (scatter-brained due to all the band-aids) and mostly old/worn out tooling and capital.

Scope of work has changed a few times over the last few weeks in meetings with the client. Complete clusterfuck of old information. Like trying to put together a thousand piece jigsaw puzzle with a number of pieces missing.

Quote got turned in today with appropriate caveats.

Again, I feel burnt out. Looking forward to UM and Crazy Jim getting their asses kicked tomorrow.

What happened to the good old days when someone could just look straight into a camera and explain things without it being chopped up with little edits. You go on the youtube and watch a video and the presenter/creator can't even speak a full sentence without adding an edit in there.

I don’t respond well to tough love in relationships I found. I just end up very paranoid and depressed. And I can even feel like I’m less healthy and like im the most dysfunctional and broken human alive.

My boss is going in for knee replacement surgery tomorrow. He speculated from what his doctor told him he might not be coherent enough (painkillers) to work from home until late next week and might not be back in the office for a couple weeks, possibly not until after Thanksgiving. No idea what the procedure entails, how painful, or the recovery period. Does his description sound accurate? He left me in charge of the estimating department, at least for the length of his painkiller incoherency.

Know what all that means? I get his primo front parking lot spot instead of trekking in from the back 40 parking lot for at least 2 weeks! cheers

That seems kind of long in terms of pain pills maybe a week longer than I thought of being out.
My FIL had it done, maybe 5 years ago or so. I don't remember it all. I know my FIL pretty much can't take any pain meds except motrin/tylenol as he throws it all up. But it must be accurate with what they're telling him. Because they really don't give out extra pain pills and have cut down on most surgeries. For some reason 2 weeks out was in my head. But maybe it is 3 weeks. Lots of PT involve. Probably has something to do with how well someone responds at first too. Expect the worst/longest out just for planning purposes.
