AvgMSUJoe wrote:So, the office had extra cash to spend at the end of the fiscal year so they got us 32" monitors... I think I hit the "max" comfortable screen size for a desk. Between the progressive glasses and neck strain... yikes.
I have two 32" ultra wide monitors side by side on articulating arms. Anything wider wouldn't work and the ultra wide definitely aren't as tall as standard monitors. These are basically two 21" monitors side by side as one monitor, but I have two of them. It's awesome! I can have four full size windows open at a time across the two monitors.

Ugh...woke up this morning and was immediately dizzy when I got up. Still going on if I move my head to fast or whenever I stand up or turn while walking. All of this along with some nausea when I feel dizzy. I have an exam tomorrow night that I'm trying to study for and it's just not happening right now.

Wow. Sorry man. I hope it’s something as simple as an ear infection you going to the doctors?

I called a doctor friend. He said to tough it out for another day or two since I have no fever and have had Covid and am fully vaccinated. It'll likely go away.

Back in the day when you felt as you described was called a hangover.
Could be early warning of a flu bug or one helluva a cold that most of us have avoided since March 2020 until recently because we chose to stay at home a lot.

What you describe could be low blood pressure. Get a cuff from your local drug store and check it out.Motown Spartan wrote:Ugh...woke up this morning and was immediately dizzy when I got up. It's definitely not a hangover or low blood pressure. I didn't drink anything yesterday and it's not the light headedness of low blood pressure. I'm feeling better now but not 100% after sleeping for a few hours.

New philosophy:
Disregard politics, religion, and females. Acquire currency my friend.
My new obsession is making money. I’ll acquire my political and philosophical beliefs and good acts of chivalry through the most potent means which is life experience.
Ultimately being a good person is placing importance on the well being of that other person. And that’s universal

Then humankind would eventually evolve to be able to drink oil, Travis. People like Guest would die off because of their inability to evolve, but we’d be cool.

Look if it’s mostly olive oil combined with the sea all you would need is some nice bruschetta and you have a perfect little appetizer just waiting for you it’s just that the swordfish you ordered for an entree would be way too impossible to catch because it would be so slippery

That wouldn’t be a problem for me. I’d simply let the swordfish stab me and then I would bend its stabby snout so it couldn’t get away from me. Easy peazy.

So Adele dropped her latest single last Friday and it’s shattering all kinds of streaming records. The song is RED HOT. Well I gave it a listen and what the hell am I missing? B-O-R-I-N-G! I watched a reviewer and the guy was raving about how it’s a real piano, and there’s no auto tune. That’s all it takes these days? Are you fucking kidding me?

Agree with this. Most fans never noticed because — as others have noted — she had a great pair of sweater blobs. To me, she always looked angry, maybe because no one paid attention to her acting.

Didn’t know that. Wikipedia says he was born here but grew up in Kentucky and then Muir, MI.
I’ve been trying to confirm Serena Williams was born in Lansing, but the only info I’ve found is she was born in Saginaw and then moved to California.

When I had my last colonoscopy, I had tWife tattoo a scorpion (temporary) on the side of my ass. According to the doctor, pretty much everyone in the office got a look.
