Agreed. The Democrats need to go low this time. I doubt they can pick a new candidate before the convention, but get a bunch of them on the campaign trail now and start attacking. If they can get Biden on board with this idea, he can be sort of a “President Emeritus”. Let him campaign along with the rest. But they need to act fast. Four months to go.

Actually they have. For the last eight years the media has brought up every crime and insult Trump has committed. The problem is MAGA loves it. His base is 100% committed and after 4 years as president everyone else has a solid opinion of him, positive or negative.  More attacks on him are not going to change many minds.

As for dumping Biden, that will piss off more Biden supporters than it will pick up supporters for whomever takes his place, not to mention the donnybrook there will be around the various factions of the Democratic Party all shilling for their favorite replacement.  Dumping Biden would be a funking disaster in November, just like 1968.  And by the numbers 86% of the base solidly supports Biden, so dumping Biden isn't what the Democratic voters want.

Many people do. The focus has to be on getting people to the polls. Biden, for what I it’s worth and what I’ve read, has for some time now had a good network of on the ground field agents, staffs etc. we need to hope those people don’t abandon ship if a change is made.

I still think Biden wins head to head. We can worry an out the 25th later. Making a change is a huge gamble.
