So if y'all wanna argue about Democrats, that's cool.. but America is a woefully stupid country and even here at tSwill
republicans/libertarians are trying to recruit people into their knuckle-scraping mainstream media bubble.
But, yeah.. have at it.
The Republican candidate was historically terrible, no one disputes that. The Democrats have lost to said historically terrible candidate twice now, and why and how that happened is what we are discussing. I know you have nothing constructive to add, but saying nothing is always an option. You and Mr. Blue Wave would do well to figure that out.

I have to admire the dedication of posters who think that Trump, who three times has run an outstanding campaign against his opponents, is a "historically terrible candidate". Scoreboard doesn't lie, fellas. I think his policies sucked in his first term, and more than likely will suck more in his second term, but give credit where credit is due.

he's a convicted rapist who has ran three times: twice he defeated a female, once he lost to a male.
the dots seem pretty easy to connect with regard to how America views women but, by all means, whine about me if I simply suggest that the electorate might be a big part of the problem..

Absolutely, yet somehow, he ran campaigns where he was in the game and won two of them. Generally, when you do that people would say they were great campaigns. It sucks that people vote for him, and he pushed their buttons with great skill.

Does that hold up in the Republicans have a one vote majority in the House?
Along the same lines, what are the Ohio laws for replacing a sitting Senator who resigns.

I have no idea, either - but I suspect they'll just do whatever they want and everyone will just shrug, go along with it and blame Democrats.Floyd Robertson wrote:Trapper Gus wrote:

Hmm, depends on who she gets replaced with, but I hadn't thought of it that way. Is she replaced by special election?

He also likely wants the biggest bootlicker he can get for the UN. Since it's HQ's right in New York, he can control her more, and pop up there himself for a speech/meeting any time he wants. It isn't like a "regular" ambassador, where you have to trust them to think on their feet.PennSpartan wrote:That would actually be a good thing. Wait, No personal misogynistic attack by our resident fake Democrat on Stefanik? Just “that would be a good thing”. After all the things she’s said and done?
Now imagine she was an accomplished, college educated Hispanic young lady in congress.

Trump picks Drifty Noem the gal who killed her dog and lied about meeting Kim Jung Un will be homeland security director.
Reminder he ran through like 4 HSD’s in his first term.

Seeing the quote from Trump is ironic since he transferred from Fordham to Penn for his undergrad and his VP has a Yale JD.
I have a hunch the next 50 months are going to far more dystopian than I imagined it could be.

All the "adults" have left the building.
I see bad things coming starting with US Citizens being sent to countries they have never been in and have no personal connections to.

That's pretty prescient for someone who proudly proclaims their ignorance. Nicely done. You should have laid some money on it. Maybe you could have paid for your plane ticket out of America?

That's going to make it difficult for you to get a working visa. A lot of countries won't accept expats without a current job and means of income. Panama or Georgia might be your best bets. Best of luck. Let me know if you want anyone to proof read your application.

As someone with extensive international travel experience, I am more than willing to help you in your move out of the U.S. I know this is a trying time for you, and I want to be here for you to assist you in any way I can.
How do you feel about Belize? I know the immigration app costs $100, but I'm sure we could start a go fund me for you if that's gonna be a barrier.

We get that you left the country when Biden won, but we love the United States. So when are you coming back now that your fellow Nazi is in charge?

I'm considering Belize myself. Female "president". Labor party in charge. Nice weather. Close to the US. Cheap immigration. English is the official language. Low cost of living. And pyramids! What's not to like?

This isn't about me. My travels are expertly executed. I'm worried about Bob's move. Unless he knows Oprah or Beyonce and can hitch a ride, I'm worried about him getting out of the U.S. I know the "high end" countries like New Zealand or Spain are probably out of his reach, so I want us all to help him find his new home. Canada is gonna build a wall and make Minnesota pay for it. South Africa seems a little violent. I know Bob doesn't want to work hard to learn a new language. Do you have any suggestions for him?

it could be argued that running a bunch of marathons, triathlons, mountain bike races, endurance stuff is 'hard work', but it's kinda fun, gives me something to do and gets me out of the house, which my wife appreciates.
