I initiated the culling.
No one was banned
The demotions were based on inactivity and were really designed to help fix the voting process since many of the Gerousia had abandoned the board.

Posting is very cyclical. People have active times and sometimes go away for awhile.

Are the votes scheduled? People may check in for a vote if they know when it will happen (first of the month, or something). Or an inactive status that removes them from voting, but cab be reinstated 30 days after resumption of activity.

Suggestions...take them for what they're worth.
