According Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, the Lions have “parted ways” with vice president of football administration Matt Harriss.

The Lions have also gotten rid of offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter, special teams coordinator Joe Marciano, defensive quality control assistant Steve Williams, and offensive assistant Derius Swinton.

Hopefully a real house cleaning. A friend of mine did some financial advising for the head of ticket sales for both the Lions and Tigers. Now this was during the Millen era for what its worth. This guy told my friend that the Lions front office was basically a money chest for employees. Absolutely no accountability, internal auditing, or measures of control. Said the Ford's have no clue how to run a football team let alone a front office. The NFL was just their cash cow.
