Coronavirus?? We gone?

Regarding Cuomo, he has been doing a really good job, so I dont mean this as an attack on him, but for as early and quickly as it spread in NY, he was slower than a lot of areas when it came to closing schools, restaurants, etc. And parks are still open, which I don't really get. He said today, "go the parks, but not in congested areas". That's still relying on people being smart about it, which is a big ask.

Meanwhile, Whitmer was ahead of the curve on school and restaurant closing (ahead of NY and most states), and was pretty far ahead of the curve in the shelter in place order, yet Michigan is being seen as one of the next biggest hotspots. Granted, we wouldn't see the fruits of those efforts pay off quite yet, so hopefully they will soon.

Can someone explain the my pillow guy was at the press conference today? I really need to hear from doctors and not CEOs. This isn't a financial meltdown where they give us advice on how to tighten our belts while getting billions in bailouts because apparently they couldn't manage their budget either.

Yea, I will keep everyone updated. My mom is making him call her everyday. So I will get the updates. I doubt he would keep me updated personally, as he's not a big communicator in general.

I wont list exact specifics, but they live in western MI.

If everyone is informed about how the virus is spread, at this point it's pretty much in individual and public best interest to turn off the news and make sure that your family stays safe for the next couple of weeks.
